Modesto Urbistondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Urbistondo came out of the goal and Rigoberto Súnico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Adictos Fc got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Ahrens. With a little luck, Adictos Fc's Gerónimo Pais got control of the ball when Benjamín La Motte tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamín La Motte got free with Gerónimo Pais in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Modesto Urbistondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Súnico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Adictos Fc got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Ahrens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Cortés in the 25th minute of play forced Adictos Fc's goalkeeper Gerónimo Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Adictos Fc's goalkeeper Gerónimo Pais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salomone Marinot. Rigoberto Súnico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Combarabala FC's zone, Dalmacio Nicoletti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Urbistondo came out of the goal and Dalmacio Nicoletti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salomone Marinot during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rigoberto Súnico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adictos Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Súnico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Urbistondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Nicoletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. The supporters of Combarabala FC booed when Adictos Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Ahrens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Súnico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes of play, Adictos Fc's Rigoberto Súnico made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Urbistondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Súnico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Modesto Urbistondo made a huge save. The supporters of Adictos Fc booed when Combarabala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerónimo Salvatierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adictos Fc's Miliano Galeas got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
