Pinuta AFC's Martin Tapia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimír Mowat in the 10th minute of play. Casimír Mowat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Martin Tapia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Baudelio Zaror fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tapia having to interfere. A collision led to Pinuta AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Victoriano Finlay hit a great ball. The supporters of Pinuta AFC booed when Porfia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Montalva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Pinuta AFC's Lois Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Venegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Baudelio Zaror received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Martin Tapia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Ross in the 39th minute of play forced Porfia AFC's goalkeeper David Venegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Ross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. David Venegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match Victoriano Finlay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Venegas skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimír Mowat to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Honorato Ross mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinuta AFC and the Porfia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Porfia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jasone Ecija. In the 63rd minute, Porfia AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Honorato Ross fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Casimír Mowat struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Martin Tapia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porfia AFC. Zarpas Barrales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Zarpas Barrales fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Ross in the 76th minute of play forced Porfia AFC's goalkeeper David Venegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Porfia AFC's Sandro Montalva got a free kick in the 76th minute. Sandro Montalva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Porfia AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sandro Montalva hit a great ball. Quintén Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 played minutes Honorato Ross rounded Porfia AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2.
