Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Máximo Villa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Sotaqui AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Vicencio to maneuver through the defense. Jaume Olano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Chaucahue's goalkeeper Tinguaro Esteban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Pino. After a rather tough play, Chaucahue's Romano Fell got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, one of Sotaqui AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sotaqui AFC. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Chaucahue. Narciso Acasuso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jaume Olano. 1-2. Godofredo Pino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tinguaro Esteban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Godofredo Pino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Godofredo Pino made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Chaucahue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Carvajal to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Pino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godofredo Pino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tinguaro Esteban having to interfere. Godofredo Pino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chaucahue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tinguaro Esteban should have stopped the shot. Chaucahue's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
