Niceto Gipoulou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomón Sastre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in A.C Frio's zone, Carlos Manuel Grebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bermejo Aguilar came out of the goal and Carlos Manuel Grebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salomón Sastre struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Niceto Gipoulou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C Frio. After 29 minutes, Aurelius Wickel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C Frio and the Horno AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Horno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Garfias. 35 minutes into the game, Nazario Trumbull recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bermejo Aguilar. Nazario Trumbull showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Salomón Sastre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Gipoulou having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Nazario Trumbull made the kick off in the second half. A.C Frio's Arnoldo Marinkovic pulled a muscle in his back after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bermejo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Manuel Grebe in the 70th minute of play. During the 71st minute of the match Aurelius Wickel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aurelius Wickel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71st match minute, A.C Frio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelius Wickel to maneuver through the defense. When Horno AFC's Nazario Trumbull in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Bermejo Aguilar guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Horno AFC fully deserved thier win.
