In the 28th minute, Manquegua's Bruno Juarez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Bruno Juarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manquegua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Juarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicent Somarriva charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicent Somarriva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicent Somarriva hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Bruno Juarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Bahamonde having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Ferroviarios FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan María Ortuzar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Juarez was the one to do the kick off. Manolo Bahamonde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sarracino Cuevas in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Ferroviarios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Juarez came free, but Manolo Bahamonde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan María Ortuzar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Manquegua's zone, Niceto Renquin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 72 minutes, Niceto Renquin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferroviarios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Renquin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Manquegua's Roque Palomera made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolo Bahamonde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niceto Renquin struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Nicodemo Zuloaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferroviarios FC. In the 88th minute, Juan María Ortuzar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicodemo Zuloaga, passed just outside the right post. Manquegua's Bruno Juarez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Carlos Gustavo Ubeda notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ferroviarios FC's Manolo Bahamonde. Manolo Bahamonde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferroviarios FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Manquegua had won, even though Ferroviarios FC had held more of the ball.
