Manolo Bahamonde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazario Trumbull in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Horno AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Carlos Manuel Grebe hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazario Trumbull in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manolo Bahamonde saved Ferroviarios FC from getting behind. After 12 played minutes Ferroviarios FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Anwandter. Carlos Manuel Grebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Bahamonde having to interfere. The supporters of Horno AFC booed when Ferroviarios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan María Ortuzar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ferroviarios FC's zone, Carlos Manuel Grebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolo Bahamonde came out of the goal and Carlos Manuel Grebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Juan María Ortuzar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Renquin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Niceto Gipoulou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Anwandter during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Zelipe Canales fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horno AFC's protests and gave Zelipe Canales a yellow card for diving instead. Zelipe Canales hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Nazario Trumbull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yeray Lavandero during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Yeray Lavandero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferroviarios FC's Manolo Bahamonde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zelipe Canales in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Juan María Ortuzar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Gipoulou. Horno AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan María Ortuzar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nazario Trumbull stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Ferroviarios FC's Niceto Renquin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niceto Gipoulou. Niceto Gipoulou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Ferroviarios FC's Manolo Bahamonde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zelipe Canales in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Juan María Ortuzar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferroviarios FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horno AFC the free kick. In the 68th minute, Juan María Ortuzar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Horno AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zelipe Canales hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Nazario Trumbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolo Bahamonde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Ferroviarios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Manuel Grebe came free, but Manolo Bahamonde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Ferroviarios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan María Ortuzar to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Alessandro Anwandter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurilio Zuloaga, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After some careless play in the Horno AFC defense, Juan María Ortuzar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Gipoulou. The Horno AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Gipoulou should have stopped the shot. Manolo Bahamonde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zelipe Canales, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ferroviarios FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Horno AFC.
