Nafarroa Alvar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ervigio Sobarzo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nafarroa Alvar. Nafarroa Alvar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Maiteines's Brian Davis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintán Pequeño in the 13th minute of play. Ervigio Sobarzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nafarroa Alvar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Maiteines's Brian Davis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintán Pequeño in the 20th minute of play. Brian Davis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintán Pequeño in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ervigio Sobarzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maiteines's supporters rose to their feet, but Ervigio Sobarzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nafarroa Alvar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Betanzos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintán Pequeño in the 29th minute of play forced Maiteines's goalkeeper Brian Davis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Theobald Bulnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llenquel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After having played for 37 minutes, Ervigio Sobarzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maiteines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ervigio Sobarzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ervigio Sobarzo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nafarroa Alvar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maiteines. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucián Oyarzabal in the 43rd minute of play forced Llenquel FC's goalkeeper Nafarroa Alvar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quintán Pequeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Davis having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quintán Pequeño made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ondino Mansilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maiteines's Ervigio Sobarzo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quintán Pequeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Casale kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Quintán Pequeño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marco Lauwerens fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maiteines's protests and gave Marco Lauwerens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Maiteines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lauwerens to maneuver through the defense. Nafarroa Alvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucián Oyarzabal in the 70th minute of the match. Nafarroa Alvar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ervigio Sobarzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervigio Sobarzo in the 76th minute of play forced Llenquel FC's goalkeeper Nafarroa Alvar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maiteines's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Adan in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on Maiteines's corner Genaro Adan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nafarroa Alvar quite easily take care of the ball. When Maiteines's Lucián Oyarzabal in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llenquel FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Lucián Oyarzabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
