Adriel Monte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 28th minute César Jelves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Mac Leay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Victor Hugo Polloni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AUKINKO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Hugo Polloni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Hugo Polloni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adriel Monte. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Ibarguen got free with Adriel Monte in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Queule's zone, Virgilio Ibarguen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriel Monte came out of the goal and Virgilio Ibarguen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Queule's goalkeeper Adriel Monte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenaido Hoevel. Victor Hugo Polloni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adriel Monte came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Hugo Polloni slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Ibarguen was the one to do the kick off. When Victor Hugo Polloni came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the AUKINKO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Hugo Polloni couldn't finish the play. After 53 played minutes Queule got a freekick which was hit by Hermelando Uriondo. After 57 played minutes Queule got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Saldaña. Alarico Aguilar kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Dionisio Mac Leay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siluna Bustos's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute.
