Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrico Engdahl started the match with the kick off. Clemente Bacheler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrico Engdahl in the 6th minute of the match. Mark Lizarzaburu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Bacheler having to interfere. Ricard Arostegui charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricard Arostegui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10th play minutes Henrico Engdahl shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Clemente Bacheler and just under the crossbar into goal. Mark Lizarzaburu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Clemente Bacheler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cotasaya. Clemente Bacheler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrico Engdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Lizarzaburu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Bacheler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrico Engdahl scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Bacheler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Mariano Bout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aaron Wittig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Mariano Bout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Wittig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Mariano Bout was the one to do the kick off. If Henrico Engdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Audax Italiano's Clemente Bacheler got control of the ball when Mark Lizarzaburu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Wittig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Mariano Bout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Mario Alberto Zambrano took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Clemente Bacheler to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute, Fabricio Bezanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Audax Italiano getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ricard Arostegui hit a great ball. Mark Lizarzaburu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Clemente Bacheler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrico Engdahl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Bacheler. That made the score 0-5 in the 77 minute of play. If Henrico Engdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Audax Italiano booed when Cotasaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Lizarzaburu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Enrique Mariano Bout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Audax Italiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Mariano Bout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cotasaya's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
