After 14 played minutes Audax Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Bezanilla. Clemente Bacheler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandro Salcedo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Mercurio Undona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Xavián Backhouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Enrique Mariano Bout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Audax Italiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Mariano Bout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Alexandro Salcedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Audax Italiano's Clemente Bacheler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Alexandro Salcedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Requinoa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandro Salcedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Mariano Bout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Xavián Backhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavián Backhouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viviano Fehrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Mariano Bout in the 46th minute of the match. With a little luck, Requinoa's Viviano Fehrmann got control of the ball when Xavián Backhouse tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

55 minutes into the match, Requinoa's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Mariano Bout came free, but Viviano Fehrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Bacheler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandro Salcedo in the 56th minute. When Ricard Arostegui fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Audax Italiano's protests and gave Ricard Arostegui a yellow card for diving instead. Ricard Arostegui got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Requinoa booed when Audax Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricard Arostegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Alexandro Salcedo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Clemente Bacheler. Viviano Fehrmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavián Backhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 74 minutes, Alexandro Salcedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clemente Bacheler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandro Salcedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Audax Italiano defense, Mercurio Undona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Bacheler. The Audax Italiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Bacheler should have stopped the shot. Requinoa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
