In the 25thth minute of the game Bairon Solis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laureles's Roy Matas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincente Poza in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Regino Durney saved Polcura FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Casimír Schorr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Leovigildo Danus led 36 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Laureles's Roy Matas became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Calvino Quinchen's late challenge caught a Laureles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Regino Durney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Hugo Cangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Polcura FC booed when Laureles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Poza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bairon Solis to strike the kick off in the second half. Polcura FC's Regino Durney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hugo Cangas in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Hugo Cangas in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Regino Durney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Polcura FC's goalkeeper Regino Durney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincente Poza.
