Ahmet Balkar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincente Avalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute Tito Bueras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Las Águilas Fútbol Club's Tito Bueras got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Haroldo Ruedi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llaguepe and the Las Águilas Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Haroldo Ruedi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Llaguepe's goal looked a bit too open when Tito Bueras came free, but Vincente Avalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincente Avalos having to interfere. Ivan Ofelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Vincente Avalos made a huge save. In the 24th minute Tito Bueras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llaguepe's Vincente Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Bueras in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Llaguepe's goalkeeper Vincente Avalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Ofelio. Adelio Zebadilla hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Vincente Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Balkar in the 32nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ivan Ofelio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vincente Avalos to make any attempt to save it. Vincente Avalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tito Bueras's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Ivan Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vincente Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Francisco Gaviño was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Llaguepe getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ricard Marholz hit a great ball. A collision led to Las Águilas Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aureo Zuloaga hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Ivan Ofelio made a precise shot to the right of Vincente Avalos. Llaguepe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ismael Nazario Payten was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, one of Llaguepe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Las Águilas Fútbol Club. Ahmet Balkar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vincente Avalos. 3-0. Vincente Avalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tito Bueras's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 73 minutes, Tito Bueras made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Llaguepe's Vincente Avalos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vincente Avalos came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Las Águilas Fútbol Club's Rune Meland. But to his dismay, Rune Meland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ivan Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tito Bueras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Fontecilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Zenón Arnault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Las Águilas Fútbol Club fully deserved thier win.
