Ignacio Fontecilla kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Alcides Mowat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Alvar Menart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llaguepe's Vincente Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Menart in the 30th minute of play. Haroldo Ruedi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pío Bernal fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moscas FC's protests and gave Pío Bernal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Llaguepe booed when Moscas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pío Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Ruedi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Madeo Mendizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eber Soupper's late challenge caught a Llaguepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Alvar Menart made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Llaguepe getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Haroldo Ruedi hit a great ball. Vincente Avalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Menart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvar Menart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcos Francisco Gaviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Llaguepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Fontecilla to maneuver through the defense. If Marcos Francisco Gaviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincente Avalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvar Menart's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Madeo Mendizabal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 92nd minute Marcos Francisco Gaviño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madeo Mendizabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Ruedi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Madeo Mendizabal made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Marcos Francisco Gaviño fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Llaguepe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
