Henrico Galmes charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrico Galmes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Renaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrico Galmes. Cristóbal Bezanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Manuel Allende having to interfere. Jose Manuel Allende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóbal Bezanilla's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chivi Changas FC's zone, Alfonso Balart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Manuel Allende came out of the goal and Alfonso Balart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute of the match Elias Huilcaman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Manuel Allende skillfully saved the ball. Manuelo Larrañaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miren Canal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Renaca FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Stefano Patiño hit a great ball. Chivi Changas FC's Amadeo Florido couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Renaca FC. 26 minutes into the game, Miren Canal lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Manuelo Larrañaga. In the 29th minute, Epifanío Utrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Balart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Manuel Allende was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After having played for 32 minutes, Alfonso Balart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renaca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Balart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chivi Changas FC's Jose Manuel Allende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Balart in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Miren Canal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuelo Larrañaga was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Ruyman Bruggink hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Chivi Changas FC's Jose Manuel Allende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Balart in the 45th minute of play. If Alfonso Balart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Alfonso Balart made the kick off in the second half. Jose Manuel Allende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Balart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanío Utrera kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Patricio Fuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chivi Changas FC's Gustavo Máximo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miren Canal in the 65th minute of play forced Renaca FC's goalkeeper Manuelo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chivi Changas FC's Alarico Higuera got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, one of Chivi Changas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Cristóbal Bezanilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renaca FC's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Alfonso Balart was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Alfonso Balart came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Renaca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Balart couldn't finish the play. Renaca FC's Cristóbal Bezanilla got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Manuel Allende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Balart's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Renaca FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Chivi Changas FC to leave the ground with a draw.
