Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Morgado in the 5th minute of play forced Renaca FC's goalkeeper Manuelo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modestio Wheeler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuelo Larrañaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Morgado's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Modestio Wheeler struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Manuelo Larrañaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancara AFC. In the 18th minute, Flavio Alcayaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ancara AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luis Alberto Tupper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Balart in the 24th minute of play. When Lautaro Morgado came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ancara AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Morgado couldn't finish the play. Aurelius Quilodrán struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ancara AFC's Luis Alberto Tupper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Balart in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Morgado in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuelo Larrañaga saved Renaca FC from getting behind. After 41 minutes of play, Ancara AFC's Modestio Wheeler made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuelo Larrañaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristóbal Bezanilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóbal Bezanilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Alberto Tupper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lautaro Morgado was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Balendín Castañeda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancara AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balendín Castañeda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Renaca FC's Manuelo Larrañaga got control of the ball when Aurelius Quilodrán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrico Galmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
