Rere's Diego Marrodan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Rere from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Mannuel Herzl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Montellano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21st minute, Andy Oñez y Loyola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Marrodan. The goal made the score 2-1. The supporters of Chaquire AFC booed when Rere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Francisco Soffia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rere's Juanjo Cruchaga got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chaquire AFC's Andy Montellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miquel Illescas in the 37th minute of play. Andy Montellano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juanjo Cruchaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Montellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Francisco Soffia in the 39th minute of the match. Andy Montellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juanjo Cruchaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Taurino Poblete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Montellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Christiano Quilodrán's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Diego Marrodan on his right side and into the goal. 81 minutes into the game it was 3-2. With a little luck, Chaquire AFC's Andy Montellano got control of the ball when Juanjo Cruchaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Rere fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Rere's Juanjo Cruchaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
