The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Marcel Aparicio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Case Chile FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Aparicio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcís Catrileo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alifonso Ripamonti saved Case Chile FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Lucas Millán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Iván Cruzat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcís Catrileo in the 36th minute of play forced Case Chile FC's goalkeeper Alifonso Ripamonti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Alberto Fanjul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Josías Schroeders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Alberto Fanjul in the 43rd minute of the match. Alifonso Ripamonti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcís Catrileo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Alberto Fanjul was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Aparicio in the 57th minute of play forced Incaguasi FC's goalkeeper Josías Schroeders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Maza during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iván Cruzat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The supporters of Case Chile FC booed when Incaguasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabián Pantoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Narcís Catrileo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Incaguasi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcís Catrileo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcís Catrileo got free with Alifonso Ripamonti in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josías Schroeders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Aparicio in the 94th minute of play. Narcís Catrileo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iván Cruzat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alifonso Ripamonti having to interfere.
