Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evaristo Delano started the match with the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Case Chile FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Contuy AFC:s goal. Alifonso Ripamonti went to the wrong direction when Gonzalo Lobo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience was convinced that Marcel Aparicio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rómulo Erazo was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Evaristo Delano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alifonso Ripamonti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Evaristo Delano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Ramon Villamayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd match minute, Case Chile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Maza to maneuver through the defense. Alifonso Ripamonti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Delano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Ramon Villamayor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Alifonso Ripamonti made a huge save. Evaristo Delano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alifonso Ripamonti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Case Chile FC's Alifonso Ripamonti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Delano in the 38th minute of play. Evaristo Delano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Ramon Villamayor in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alifonso Ripamonti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Case Chile FC's Cristiano Maza got a free kick in the 46th minute. Contuy AFC's Gonzalo Lobo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Case Chile FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Alberto Fanjul was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Aparicio got free with Rómulo Erazo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcel Aparicio succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Alifonso Ripamonti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Ramon Villamayor in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Delano in the 63rd minute of play forced Case Chile FC's goalkeeper Alifonso Ripamonti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Evaristo Delano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Case Chile FC's Alifonso Ripamonti. Alifonso Ripamonti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th match minute, Contuy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlín Rivadeneira to maneuver through the defense. Jose Ramon Villamayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 72 minutes, Evaristo Delano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Contuy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Delano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Maza during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Cristiano Maza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alifonso Ripamonti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Ramon Villamayor's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Contuy AFC's Evaristo Delano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alifonso Ripamonti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Case Chile FC's goalkeeper Alifonso Ripamonti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alifonso Ripamonti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Ramon Villamayor in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jose Ramon Villamayor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Contuy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Ramon Villamayor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alifonso Ripamonti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcel Aparicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Contuy AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Case Chile FC for a fine match.
