In the 10th minute, Firmín Canepa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, one of Chana :s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chana . Rollo Chavez went to the wrong direction when Sansón Quintana was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ramiro Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. El Tabo FC's Ambrosio Infantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firmín Canepa in the 26th minute of play. Celino Izammit succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 28th playminute. 31 minutes into the game, Ramiro Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Tabo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chana the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Tabo FC's Ramiro Thomas got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ambrosio Infantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firmín Canepa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Firmín Canepa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Chana were awarded a corner. Osvaldo Bastic was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, one of El Tabo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Tabo FC. Ambrosio Infantas went to the wrong direction when Maurino Barrenechea was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a little luck, El Tabo FC's Ambrosio Infantas got control of the ball when Firmín Canepa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Firmín Canepa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chana 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firmín Canepa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Firmín Canepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Agudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ambrosio Infantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Agudo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ambrosio Infantas. Ambrosio Infantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Firmín Canepa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chana 's supporters rose to their feet, but Firmín Canepa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Infantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Chana defense, Tanio Mac Kenzie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rollo Chavez. The Chana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rollo Chavez should have stopped the shot. Ambrosio Infantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Agudo in the 88th minute. If Desiderio Agudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the match, Leonardo Fedeghelli notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of El Tabo FC's Ambrosio Infantas. Ambrosio Infantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Tabo FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chana had controlled the match.
