Apolo Arrau's late challenge caught a Cullani AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Arrau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Apolo Arrau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Patrickson during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Cullani AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Patrickson. Vinicio Julio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Moisés Lastra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cullani AFC booed when Bobadilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Basualto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Laurín Berger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ruesga Monckeberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaac Badilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ruesga Monckeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Bobadilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurín Berger came free, but Ruesga Monckeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Badilla in the 41st minute of play forced Bobadilla FC's goalkeeper Ruesga Monckeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Badilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruesga Monckeberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Badilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andoni Ayerdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laurín Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ruesga Monckeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Badilla struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ruesga Monckeberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cullani AFC. In the 95th minute Vinicio Julio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Lastra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Julio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Lastra having to make a save. Cullani AFC played a much better game than Bobadilla FC and deserved their victory. The Bobadilla FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
