Marcel Gronows fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruesga Monckeberg having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Bobadilla FC's goalkeeper Ruesga Monckeberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Gronows. Bobadilla FC's Andoni Ayerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Andoni Ayerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remicio Martos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remicio Martos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Ayerdi in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cecilio Deuth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remicio Martos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Ayerdi in the 20th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Laureano Leal suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Apolo Arrau fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bobadilla FC's protests and gave Apolo Arrau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Bobadilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Arrau to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes of play, Bobadilla FC's Vinicio Julio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. If Vinicio Julio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Julio made a kick off. Guantija FC's Remicio Martos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Julio in the 52nd minute of play. Cecilio Deuth charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Deuth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cecilio Deuth hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Marcel Gronows struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ruesga Monckeberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guantija FC. When Herminio Vela fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guantija FC's protests and gave Herminio Vela a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guantija FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. The Bobadilla FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bobadilla FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
