Lolo Valderas took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damario Zubelzu. Damario Zubelzu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sami Farah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Abner Pedregal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Chudal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernán Cacho to maneuver through the defense. When Rollo Gibson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Lincay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rollo Gibson couldn't finish the play. Abner Pedregal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Farah in the 24th minute of the match. Lolo Valderas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Damario Zubelzu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rollo Gibson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abner Pedregal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danél Grebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sami Farah who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Abner Pedregal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lincay FC's Lolo Valderas got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Sami Farah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abner Pedregal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abner Pedregal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Farah in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frances Patrick in the 43rd minute of play forced Chudal's goalkeeper Damario Zubelzu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lincay FC booed when Chudal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nacho Arroyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chudal's zone, Rollo Gibson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damario Zubelzu came out of the goal and Rollo Gibson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Frances Patrick made the kick off in the second half. Damario Zubelzu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frances Patrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Rollo Gibson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lincay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 58th minute, Sami Farah made a precise shot to the right of Abner Pedregal. Lincay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 67thth minute of the game Sami Farah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lincay FC's Abner Pedregal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sami Farah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sami Farah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Abner Pedregal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lolo Valderas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 84th playminute. Sami Farah might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abner Pedregal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sami Farah ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, Mauro Arriagada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abner Pedregal. Lincay FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Arriagada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Damario Zubelzu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludovico Vlahovic in the 96th minute of play.
