Loreto Turres ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 11 minutes, Cosme Andrews managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 19th minute, Frances Patrick reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niceto De Gavardo. The goal made the score 1-0. Abner Pedregal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Andrews, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cosme Andrews's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abner Pedregal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Felipe Manzanares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Peupeu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Donaire to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Peupeu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Frances Patrick came free, but Niceto De Gavardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelado Wilshaw kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Frances Patrick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niceto De Gavardo. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rollo Gibson in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto De Gavardo saved Peupeu AFC from getting behind. Frances Patrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Loreto Turres's late challenge caught a Lincay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
