Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Tomás Figueroa got free with Robustiano Urtubia in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Orellana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robustiano Urtubia. Colimavia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Tomás Figueroa took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Urtubia. Robustiano Urtubia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute Estebano Novoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Urtubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Soncor fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Soncor's Estebano Novoa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 24 minutes, Pedro Tomás Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soncor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Tomás Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 minutes, Angelo Puelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soncor and the Colimavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Soncor got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Puelles. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubaldo Matildo Ogalde to make the kick off. Soncor's Ernesto Daniel Heyboer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Soncor from getting a goal against them. When Nastasio Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colimavia's protests and gave Nastasio Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Soncor booed when Colimavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nastasio Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Pedro Tomás Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Urtubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Matildo Ogalde lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Ernesto Daniel Heyboer. Robustiano Urtubia came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Soncor's Estebano Novoa. But to his dismay, Estebano Novoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ernesto Daniel Heyboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nastasio Quiroga in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Soncor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sansón Coromina to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Colimavia's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Tomás Figueroa came free, but Robustiano Urtubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colimavia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soncor.
