The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastiano Acosta in the 5th minute of play forced Kazfer F.C.'s goalkeeper Andolín Beausejour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Guallatire AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Narcís Ibieta hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Bairon Pumaraboli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Andolín Beausejour was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Javier Peric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kazfer F.C.'s goalkeeper Andolín Beausejour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Kazfer F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Ibarboure to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Kazfer F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastiano Acosta came free, but Andolín Beausejour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If César Fontaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Fontaner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Andolín Beausejour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Guallatire AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Raymond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Cristóbal Klein. After 38 minutes, Eufemio Almendras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kazfer F.C. and the Guallatire AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eufemio Almendras hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Kazfer F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when César Fontaner came free, but Andolín Beausejour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Sebastiano Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andolín Beausejour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romelio Huneeus to strike the kick off in the second half. Andolín Beausejour made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Sebastiano Acosta sent off a good shot on target. Romelio Huneeus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Sebastiano Acosta took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Andolín Beausejour to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th minute, Juan Cristóbal Klein made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Raymond. Guallatire AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Juan Cristóbal Klein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bairon Pumaraboli kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Kazfer F.C.'s Juan Cristóbal Klein made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Raymond was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes Guallatire AFC got a freekick which was hit by César Fontaner. Juan Cristóbal Klein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Raymond having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Kazfer F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
