A collision led to FC Los Loros getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Teofilio Peronard hit a great ball. Teodosio Mac Gill struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Juan Antonio Henríquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortacollo AFC. Juan Antonio Henríquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Antonio Henríquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Julio Castellon in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Carlos Gustavo Puga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Cubillos. Cortacollo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Gustavo Puga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cortacollo AFC's Cosme Cubillos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Almadel in the 31st minute of play. Juan Antonio Henríquez was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and José Julio Castellon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Julio Castellon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. José Julio Castellon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
