Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eriberto Mercado started the match with the kick off. Diego Armando Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lois Porras in the 4th minute of play. When Higinio Zenteno came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Miraflores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Zenteno couldn't finish the play. Diego Armando Davison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lois Porras's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Milián Fabri kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Lois Porras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lois Porras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Manzor kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Miraflores's goalkeeper Tomasino Maldonado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Gafo. Miraflores's Tomasino Maldonado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Miraflores from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes, Eriberto Mercado made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Miraflores's Tomasino Maldonado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th match minute, Saxamar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milián Fabri to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Aníbal Gafo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Miraflores's Tomasino Maldonado. Tomasino Maldonado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Aníbal Gafo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saxamar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Gafo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasino Maldonado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Armando Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lois Porras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Zenteno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomasino Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Gafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Aníbal Gafo made a precise shot to the right of Tomasino Maldonado. Miraflores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Higinio Zenteno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miraflores's Tomasino Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Gafo in the 64th minute of play. Lois Porras's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Diego Armando Davison skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute Eriberto Mercado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasino Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Gafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasino Maldonado having to interfere. Miraflores's Higinio Zenteno got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Mercado struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Tomasino Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saxamar FC. When Milián Fabri was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 82nd match minute, Saxamar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milián Fabri to maneuver through the defense. Miraflores's Tomasino Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Gafo in the 89th minute of play.
