Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdón Gartsman started the match with the kick off. Alcadio Socho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Velasco Reinoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcadio Socho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcadio Socho in the 13th minute of play forced Aijota's goalkeeper Velasco Reinoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Mioño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Galindo in the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Abdón Gartsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pupuya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdón Gartsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdón Gartsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velasco Reinoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Abdón Gartsman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Velasco Reinoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Reccius charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Reccius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Aijota got a freekick which was hit by José Luis Piñera. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alcadio Socho in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Velasco Reinoso saved Aijota from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Pupuya FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Mioño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Faure. In the 40th minute, Abdón Gartsman made a precise shot to the right of Velasco Reinoso. Aijota's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Aijota's goal looked a bit too open when Abdón Gartsman came free, but Velasco Reinoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Galindo was the one to do the kick off. If Albino Faure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albino Faure came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Aijota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Faure couldn't finish the play. Orlín Infante charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlín Infante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aijota's Orlín Infante got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute of the match Jose Ramon Manghy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Velasco Reinoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eleuterio Mioño came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Aijota's Bonifacio Galindo. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Galindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Aijota booed when Pupuya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdón Gartsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Aijota's Velasco Reinoso got control of the ball when Alcadio Socho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, José Luis Piñera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aijota's supporters rose to their feet, but José Luis Piñera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Mioño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlín Infante got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Orlín Infante hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Alcadio Socho notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Aijota's Velasco Reinoso. Velasco Reinoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andoni Cruchaga's late challenge caught a Aijota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andoni Cruchaga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Pupuya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andoni Cruchaga to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Albino Faure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute of the match Desiderio Heyboer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Velasco Reinoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdón Gartsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Reinoso having to interfere. José Luis Piñera hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Abdón Gartsman might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Velasco Reinoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdón Gartsman ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pupuya FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
