Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Club Deportivo Caliche's Barlas Zeynel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Almendral FC's Higinio Morel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Almendral FC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, Almendral FC's Federico Poisson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Barlas Zeynel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Morel having to interfere. Higinio Morel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Zenon Topolski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Almendral FC's Roy Hardy got a free kick in the 20th minute. Club Deportivo Caliche's Oscar Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Poisson in the 23rd minute of play. Higinio Morel made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zenon Topolski sent off a good shot on target. Barlas Zeynel might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Morel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barlas Zeynel ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes in the game, Barlas Zeynel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Higinio Morel having to interfere. Zenon Topolski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Higinio Morel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roy Hardy charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roy Hardy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zenon Topolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Morel having to make a save. After 39 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Caliche's Barlas Zeynel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Morel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Almendral FC's goalkeeper Higinio Morel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Zenon Topolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Morel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Javier Granada to make the kick off. Zenon Topolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Almendral FC's Eric Srain got a free kick in the 61st minute. Federico Poisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zenon Topolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Deportivo Caliche getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vicente Gutiérrez hit a great ball. Higinio Morel came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Caliche's Barlas Zeynel. But to his dismay, Barlas Zeynel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 85 minutes into the match, Almendral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barlas Zeynel came free, but Higinio Morel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barlas Zeynel in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Morel saved Almendral FC from getting behind. Higinio Morel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barlas Zeynel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Almendral FC's Toni Karmy got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Higinio Morel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barlas Zeynel's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Club Deportivo Caliche's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
