Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) José Javier Granada started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Almendral FC's Higinio Morel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Garay in the 5th minute of play. Teodor Garay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Morel having to interfere. Américo Hoefler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Higinio Morel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minilla FC's Teodor Garay got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Garay in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Morel saved Almendral FC from getting behind. Lucio Jose María Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Américo Hoefler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Morel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Hardy kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Almendral FC's zone, Américo Hoefler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Morel came out of the goal and Américo Hoefler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Wilkenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Javier Granada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Almendral FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Minilla FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodor Garay was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Almendral FC got a freekick which was hit by Roy Hardy. Minilla FC's Américo Hoefler got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Poisson scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Wilkenson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Américo Hoefler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almendral FC's Higinio Morel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Almendral FC from getting a goal against them. If Teodor Garay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Delporte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Teodor Garay lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Higinio Morel. In the 86thth minute of the game Remi Oyarzabal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almendral FC's Higinio Morel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Minilla FC's Higinio Morel threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodor Garay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Minilla FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
