Tillujaya AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Hardy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Toni Karmy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almendral FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pedro Tomás Manríquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Sudi struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Higinio Morel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tillujaya AFC. In the 23rd minute Christiano Sudi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Morel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Tomás Manríquez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Higinio Morel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Javier Granada in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Escala saved Tillujaya AFC from getting behind. Tillujaya AFC's Rubén Heredia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Higinio Morel but with some difficulty. In the 31st minute, Roy Hardy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tillujaya AFC's Pedro Tomás Manríquez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa Massú hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Cipriano Escala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Javier Granada in the 46th minute of the match. The Tillujaya AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Almendral FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christiano Sudi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tillujaya AFC's Cipriano Escala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Tillujaya AFC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Tomás Manríquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Morel having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Almendral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Karmy to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Christiano Sudi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Morel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toni Karmy during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tillujaya AFC booed when Almendral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Karmy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Federico Poisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almendral FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Poisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Almendral FC's zone, Christiano Sudi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Morel came out of the goal and Christiano Sudi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, Almendral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Karmy to maneuver through the defense. Tillujaya AFC's Rafa Massú couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Almendral FC. After some careless play in the Almendral FC defense, Christiano Sudi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Morel. The Almendral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Morel should have stopped the shot. After 83 minutes of play, Tillujaya AFC's Pedro Tomás Manríquez made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Morel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Higinio Morel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Sudi in the 86th minute of the match.
