Spectators: 6693 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isadoro Fierro made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Edgardo Erwens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamentica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Erwens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocente Lambarrie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zenón Arizaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Torreblanca in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Edgardo Erwens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamentica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Erwens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocente Lambarrie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Torreblanca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenón Arizaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Isadoro Fierro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zenón Arizaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Edgardo Erwens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tamentica FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Zenón Arizaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorio Torreblanca's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Edgardo Erwens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocente Lambarrie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgardo Erwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenón Arizaga came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Arco's Reynaldo Basualto. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Basualto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Edgardo Erwens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Inocente Lambarrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Erwens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Edgardo Erwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Arco's Isadoro Fierro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenón Arizaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zenón Arizaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Pedro Pellegri in the 62nd minute of play. When Niceto Arciego fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamentica FC's protests and gave Niceto Arciego a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tamentica FC's Niceto Arciego got a free kick in the 65th minute. Isadoro Fierro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zenón Arizaga having to make a save. The referee gave Tamentica FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Niceto Arciego, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arco's Inocente Lambarrie. 2-2. After 80 played minutes Tamentica FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Leyton. 84 minutes into the game, Abner Maritano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tamentica FC the free kick. The supporters of Tamentica FC booed when Arco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abner Maritano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Elazar Sologuren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arco getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Reynaldo Basualto hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
