Xacobo Cabezas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis María Vuskovic's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Recinto AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Víctor Javier Carranza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Van Diest in the 29th minute of play forced Meseta Azul C.D's goalkeeper Álvaro Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st play minute Víctor Javier Carranza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xacobo Cabezas. 3-0. In the 35thth minute of the game Nicolas Norambuena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meseta Azul C.D's Álvaro Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Norambuena's late challenge caught a Meseta Azul C.D's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Norambuena helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Meseta Azul C.D booed when Recinto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Norambuena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Luis María Vuskovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meseta Azul C.D's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis María Vuskovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xacobo Cabezas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th match minute, Recinto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Bernal to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anacleto Van Diest made a kick off. Luis María Vuskovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Xacobo Cabezas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Luis María Vuskovic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meseta Azul C.D fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Recinto AFC's zone, Luis María Vuskovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xacobo Cabezas came out of the goal and Luis María Vuskovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Luis María Vuskovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meseta Azul C.D's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis María Vuskovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xacobo Cabezas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Víctor Javier Carranza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Víctor Javier Carranza in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xacobo Cabezas saved Recinto AFC from getting behind. When Víctor Javier Carranza got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Xacobo Cabezas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 5-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Víctor Javier Carranza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Meseta Azul C.D's Víctor Javier Carranza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xacobo Cabezas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Meseta Azul C.D's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
