Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Esteban José Van Diest made the kick off and thus started the match. Tomaguaya FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernán Mannhardt in the 11th minute. The corner ended in Fernán Mannhardt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Corinthians's Esteban Catrilao did a great save. A collision led to SC Corinthians getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Maxín Arenas hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Tomaguaya FC's Fernán Mannhardt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erasmo Harriet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xacobo Camelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Quintán Mosca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Liberona was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Rafa Sabater's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Liberona was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Rafa Sabater notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tomaguaya FC's Oscar Liberona. Oscar Liberona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Quintán Mosca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Liberona was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Xacobo Camelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Harriet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Esteban Catrilao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xacobo Camelo to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Tomaguaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Disvandis Devilat to maneuver through the defense. Zacarías Perfetti, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 61st minute, Zacarías Perfetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban José Van Diest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Esteban Catrilao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxín Arenas might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Liberona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxín Arenas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Erasmo Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Esteban José Van Diest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Catrilao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Ricart Alamos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomaguaya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricart Alamos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafa Sabater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Liberona having to interfere. In the 95th minute Esteban José Van Diest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Catrilao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SC Corinthians supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Corinthians would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
