The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odín Galeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Abaroa couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Real Concepcion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Abaroa came free, but Eliseo Tejada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tinguaro Tupper fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Concepcion FC's protests and gave Tinguaro Tupper a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Real Concepcion FC got a freekick which was hit by Tinguaro Tupper. Real Concepcion FC's Eliseo Tejada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Abaroa in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Real Concepcion FC defense, Teodoro Abaroa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Tejada. The Real Concepcion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Tejada should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Carlos Galiano in the 80th minute of play forced Real Concepcion FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Tejada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Odín Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Arata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
