Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Godofredo Ibarbia took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Balsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintán Arroyo to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Asencio, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Ibarbia in the 15th minute of play forced Balsas's goalkeeper Luis Alberto Samaniego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Renaico FC booed when Balsas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Vicuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Xosé Lattapiat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Renaico FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cipriano Bañados hit a great ball. Juan Carlos Romeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. José Julio Fraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godofredo Ibarbia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Alberto Samaniego having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Balsas got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Thompson. Maximiliano Asencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Alberto Samaniego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosé Lattapiat in the 46th minute of the match. If Juan Carlos Romeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Carlos Romeo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Juan Carlos Romeo made a precise shot to the right of José Julio Fraga. Renaico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 57th minute, Xosé Lattapiat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Renaico FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Godofredo Ibarbia came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Renaico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Ibarbia couldn't finish the play. Xosé Lattapiat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Luis Alberto Samaniego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Julio Fraga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Carlos Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute Godofredo Ibarbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Alberto Samaniego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Ibarbia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xosé Lattapiat got free with Luis Alberto Samaniego in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes Renaico FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Respaldiza. Nemesio Gandarillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Julio Fraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Carlos Romeo in the 91st minute of play. Juan Carlos Romeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Renaico FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Balsas throughout the match.
