A wasted opportunity for Lorenzo Arenas CSD. 33 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Arenas CSD's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Carlos Romeo came free, but Nauzet Garmendia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Carlos Romeo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rollo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lorenzo Arenas CSD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rollo Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Alberto Samaniego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Alberto Samaniego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Urrutia went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lorenzo Arenas CSD's Florencio Urrutia got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rollo Franco was the one to do the kick off. Fulgencio Vicuña kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match.
