In the 15th minute, Florencio Urrutia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Txomin Lobos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Cornez having to interfere. Modesto Liendo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Chaulinec got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Vicente Oñederra. Lorenzo Arenas CSD were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Chaulinec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon-Ander Monckeberg took the corner. Ermegildo Casanova made a great header on Lorenzo Arenas CSD's corner, it was just that Chaulinec's Luciano Cornez managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Liendo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chaulinec's Modesto Liendo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Jon-Ander Monckeberg shot from a long distance. Nauzet Garmendia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Modesto Liendo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Zuazagoitia to make the kick off. Florencio Urrutia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Luciano Cornez made a huge save. After having played for 62 minutes, Florencio Urrutia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lorenzo Arenas CSD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Urrutia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Pirola hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Luciano Cornez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Edmundo Zuazagoitia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaulinec's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Zuazagoitia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nauzet Garmendia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Zuazagoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanausu Ulloa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Dalmacio Najera came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Chaulinec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Najera couldn't finish the play. If Edmundo Zuazagoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaulinec's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
