In the 28th minute Dalmacio Najera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Eduardo Cotapos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Fermín Fanjul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apamica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermín Fanjul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Chaulinec's Dalmacio Najera in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 81st minute of the match Zeledon Oriol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Cornez skillfully saved the ball. When Modesto Liendo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaulinec's protests and gave Modesto Liendo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Fermín Fanjul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amador Carrión had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermín Fanjul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Poveda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
