The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the last second Francisco José Yanque throw himself and got hold of the ball when Francisco Javier Mayol in the 3rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tancredo Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco José Yanque having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Quilimanzano's goal looked a bit too open when Javiero Albarran came free, but Matthias Möller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Huudad FC got a freekick which was hit by Zenón Malaree. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Tancredo Basualdo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilimanzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Tancredo Basualdo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco José Yanque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 played minutes Huudad FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Alfonso Gormaz. Casimír Balart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco José Yanque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Francisco Javier Mayol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco José Yanque was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Tancredo Basualdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Francisco José Yanque made a huge save. Tancredo Basualdo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Francisco José Yanque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilimanzano. Francisco José Yanque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Lizana Lezana in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes, Quilimanzano's Emmanuel Casos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco José Yanque came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quilimanzano reached it. If Quintén Pino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Huudad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulín Daughters came free, but Francisco José Yanque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Alfonso Gormaz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Juan Perl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco José Yanque skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Huudad FC booed when Quilimanzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Lizana Lezana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Javier Mayol in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco José Yanque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd match minute, Quilimanzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Perl to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Bozo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matthias Möller firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quilimanzano had won after a very even match.
