Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Jose Antonucci in the 5th minute of play forced Vortex FC's goalkeeper Damario Arredondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Joaquin Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vortex FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remicio Droste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Alegría came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damario Arredondo could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Jose Antonucci in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damario Arredondo saved Vortex FC from getting behind. Joaquin Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remicio Droste having to make a save. If Caupolicán Chirinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vortex FC's Filomeno Urenda got a free kick in the 29th minute. Honorio Alegría received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Damario Arredondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Guadaba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Mattensohn to maneuver through the defense. Vortex FC's Caupolicán Chirinos got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Jose Antonucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damario Arredondo having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Filomeno Urenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Juan Jose Antonucci came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Guadaba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Jose Antonucci couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquin Delgado to make the kick off. A collision led to Guadaba FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Urtsín Subercaseaux hit a great ball. Damario Arredondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Jose Antonucci went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Juan Jose Antonucci struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Damario Arredondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guadaba FC. When Guadaba FC's Honorio Alegría in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vortex FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute, Horacio Mattensohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Caupolicán Chirinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Honorio Alegría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Urenda during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Vortex FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Urenda to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Alegría received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. During the 91st minute of the match Filomeno Urenda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Filomeno Urenda hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guadaba FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vortex FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
