Canadilla AFC's Bernardino Oropesa got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Canadilla AFC's Normando Abrego slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sansón Abarzuza. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Sansón Abarzuza made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bernardino Oropesa sent off a good shot on target. Normando Abrego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sansón Abarzuza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernardino Oropesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilio Zarricueta got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Oropesa got free with Sansón Abarzuza in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sansón Abarzuza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Oropesa in the 90th minute. Leandro Cabezas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cerilo Harun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Juan Alfonso Solabarrieta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Canadilla AFC's Leandro Cabezas did a great save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Canadilla AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
