The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mapuches F.C.'s goalie and right to Tinguaro Maroto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mapuches F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mapuches F.C.'s goalkeeper Mateo Avilés, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mapuches F.C.'s Mateo Avilés played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alarico Villalobos in the 9th minute of play. Leovigildo Vicentens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Maillard in the 12th minute of play. Mateo Avilés made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alarico Villalobos in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alarico Villalobos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Avilés was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Leovigildo Vicentens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Maillard, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Leovigildo Vicentens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Maillard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Avilés having to interfere. When Baldomiro Ibarguen fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mani FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Ibarguen a yellow card for diving instead. Baldomiro Ibarguen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Leovigildo Vicentens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo La Motte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Mapuches F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Erazo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mapuches F.C.'s Mateo Avilés got control of the ball when Martin Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo La Motte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Maillard in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leovigildo Vicentens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Maffet kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. David Maillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Mapuches F.C. a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natanael Botero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mani FC's Leovigildo Vicentens. 2-0. Leovigildo Vicentens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo La Motte's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Martin Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mapuches F.C. had won after a very even match.
