Thanks to some nice moves Marcelo Garza could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Sansón Paetz however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Raúlo Delgado sped through Altar FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Azoca. Marcelo Garza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóbal Bolivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sansón Paetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Garza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Altar FC defense, Raúlo Delgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Azoca. The Altar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Azoca should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Taurino L´Hotelier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Coyo FC's zone, Marcelo Garza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sansón Paetz came out of the goal and Marcelo Garza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Garza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sansón Paetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Eulalio Bishara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coyo FC the free kick. Eulalio Bishara hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Marcelo Garza came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Altar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Garza couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Coyo FC's Marín Camiña got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóbal Bolivar was the one to do the kick off. Raúlo Delgado in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roberto Azoca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Altar FC's Roberto Azoca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Altar FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Cristóbal Bolivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sansón Paetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taurino L´Hotelier in the 62nd minute of play forced Altar FC's goalkeeper Roberto Azoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipo Guemes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Jeronimo La Motte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coyo FC's Sansón Paetz didn't even have to move. 70 minutes into the match, Coyo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Garza came free, but Sansón Paetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Marín Camiña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89thth minute of the game Taurino L´Hotelier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altar FC's Roberto Azoca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Altar FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Eulalio Bishara hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Coyo FC got a corner. Altar FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xavi Sigorraga ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Taurino L´Hotelier at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Altar FC. 0-4. If Raúlo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Coyo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coyo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
