Pincha AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 7 minutes, Taurino L´Hotelier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coyo FC and the Pincha AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Coyo FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Taurino L´Hotelier hit a great ball. Taurino L´Hotelier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pincha AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aaron Arriagada hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Coyo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Arriagada came free, but Sansón Paetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Illesca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taurino L´Hotelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pincha AFC's goalkeeper Lucio Illesca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipo Guemes's late challenge caught a Pincha AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipo Guemes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Felipo Guemes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Arriagada in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sansón Paetz saved Coyo FC from getting behind. Raúlo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Illesca having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taurino L´Hotelier in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Illesca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raúlo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lucio Illesca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Balladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sansón Paetz having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Pincha AFC's Aaron Arriagada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sansón Paetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Coyo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pincha AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taurino L´Hotelier was the one to do the kick off. Raúlo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Illesca having to interfere. When Pincha AFC's Aaron Arriagada in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coyo FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th match minute, Coyo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Panatt to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pincha AFC booed when Coyo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipo Guemes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coyo FC's zone, Reinaldo Balladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sansón Paetz came out of the goal and Reinaldo Balladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sansón Paetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Arriagada, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Aaron Arriagada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coyo FC's Raúlo Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Pincha AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Atria. The Pincha AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
