The Concon fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Concon's Tomás Unzueta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Cuchuguano FC's Filiberto Alsina got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Teodoro Bishara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuchuguano FC's Juan Alfonso Duvauchelle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodoro Bishara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Alfonso Duvauchelle having to interfere. If Tomás Unzueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adán Dinamarca hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Albano Diez's late challenge caught a Concon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Diez helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Cuchuguano FC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Diez. 43 minutes into the game, Pere Brizuela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuchuguano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concon the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Pere Brizuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Bishara was the one to do the kick off. Concon's Cresenciano Cox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco José Andueza in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Concon getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Remigio Bacigalupo hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Francisco José Andueza made a precise shot to the right of Cresenciano Cox. Concon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 60th minute Pere Brizuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresenciano Cox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco José Andueza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cresenciano Cox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 3-3 became the score in the 68th minute when Teodoro Bishara elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
