The wind increased when Mario Herdoyza made the kick off in the second half. Aldo Aspillaga kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Baudelio Arriaza notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Quintay FC's Ismael Ambrosetti. Quintay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Dattwyler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SIMANCA F.C. had won after a very even match.
