Puchoco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caquena AFC the free kick. In the 12th minute, one of Puchoco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Puchoco. Amadeo Allu went to the wrong direction when Gilberto Undona was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Modestio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amadeo Allu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Puchoco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Maino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Modestio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caquena AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Modestio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Allu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Washington Maino kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Iván Abello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelino Gorostiaga. Caquena AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iván Abello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Caquena AFC's Modestio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Allu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeo Allu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mónico Chopitea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modestio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Allu having to interfere. Mónico Chopitea scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Allu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mónico Chopitea made a kick off. Mónico Chopitea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 61 played minutes Puchoco got a freekick which was hit by Washington Maino. Modestio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Allu having to interfere. If Iván Abello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Allu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Modestio Costa sent off a good shot on target. If Poulus Cuadra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Allu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modestio Costa in the 91st minute.
