In the 5th match minute, Concepcion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebulón Quintupil to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Saúl Izarra kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Concepcion's goal looked a bit too open when Caupolicán Raggio came free, but Donato Pedraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Ribera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Matancilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Pedro Deppe. Matancilla FC's Sergi Fenieux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estebano Berecedo in the 27th minute of play. Raimundo Espina charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Espina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Concepcion got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Espina. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caupolicán Raggio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Tomasino Vilches put in a rough tackle. 54 minutes into the game, one of Concepcion:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Caupolicán Raggio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matancilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caupolicán Raggio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Pedraza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Pedraza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Ribera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Concepcion's Carlos Saúl Izarra got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sergi Fenieux. After a defensive mix-up in Concepcion's zone, Florencio Ribera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Pedraza came out of the goal and Florencio Ribera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yeray Riffo's late challenge caught a Concepcion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yeray Riffo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Matancilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yeray Riffo to maneuver through the defense. Sergi Fenieux was a little too slow when Constantino Bravo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-2. If Constantino Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Haeussler struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Sergi Fenieux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepcion. 92 minutes into the match, Matancilla FC's Florencio Ribera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Pedraza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Concepcion's Donato Pedraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Ribera in the 94th minute of play. Enrique Mariano Ubilla's late challenge caught a Matancilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Mariano Ubilla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Florencio Ribera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yeray Riffo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Pedraza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yeray Riffo, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. Concepcion's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
