The referee ignored Salamanca's protests and gave Tancredo Ibáñez a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damario Leese got free with Leopoldo Longa in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
